Apprentice School Sports Coach (Level 4)

📍 Location: Various locations across Manchester
💷 Salary: £8.00 per hour (first year)
🕘 Hours: Full-time 30 hours (Monday to Friday)

The Role:

As one of our Apprentice School Sports Coaches, you’ll support the delivery of engaging PE lessons, sports coaching sessions and extracurricular activities while working towards your Level 4 School Sports Coach Apprenticeship.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver engaging sports sessions, PE lessons and after-school clubs.

• Support pupils of all ages to develop their confidence, skills and enjoyment of physical activity.

• Assist with school competitions, festivals and extracurricular programmes.

• Promote healthy, active lifestyles and improve participation in sport.

• Work alongside experienced teachers, coaches and external partners.

• Develop your coaching knowledge through practical experience and structured learning.

• Passion for sport and physical activity.

• A genuine interest in working with children and young people.

• Eagerness to learn and develop coaching skills.

Desirable

• Previous coaching, volunteering or school-based experience.

• A sports coaching qualification or relevant sporting background.
