Recruitment Resourcer - 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Location: Cheadle, 1 day per week working from home
Salary: £28,000 FTE (£21,000 pro rata)
About the Role
LSC are looking for a proactive and organised Resourcer to support the recruitment and placement of education and childcare professionals. This role is key to identifying and engaging high-quality candidates while ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding process.
You will play an integral part in building strong talent pipelines and delivering an excellent experience to both candidates and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Attraction
Source candidates for roles including teachers, sports coaches, nursery staff and support roles
Use job boards, social media and internal systems to attract talent
Write and post engaging job adverts
Build and maintain talent pipelines
Candidate Engagement & Screening
Conduct initial screening calls and interviews
Assess candidate suitability, experience and motivation
Build strong relationships through regular communication
Compliance & Safeguarding
Support Right to Work, DBS, reference and qualification checks
Ensure adherence to safer recruitment standards
Maintain accurate and GDPR-compliant records
Onboarding & Support
Assist with onboarding from offer through to start date
Coordinate inductions and required training
Support new starters in their initial period
Administration & Team Support
Maintain ATS and HR systems
Coordinate interviews and placement admin
Work closely with the Recruitment Manager and wider team
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Experience in recruitment, resourcing or candidate-focused roles
Strong communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail, particularly with compliance
Confident using recruitment systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
Experience in education or childcare recruitment
Knowledge of DBS and safer recruitment processes
Experience supporting onboarding or induction
