We are recruiting a passionate and organised School Holiday Club Manager to lead our holiday provision. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has strong leadership skills and can deliver high-quality, inclusive activities during school holidays.
Location: Crewe
Salary: £140-160 per day (dependant on experience)
Hours: Variable seasonal hours during school holidays (full days, typically 8.00am–6.00pm), casual/seasonal contract with opportunity for ongoing work

Role Overview:
As the School Holiday Club Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the holiday provision. You will lead a small team, plan and deliver a varied programme of activities, ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are met and maintain excellent communication with parents and partner schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Planning: Design and implement creative activity plans that suit the age range and needs of attendees, including sports, arts, games and enrichment sessions.
Team Leadership: Recruit, supervise and support playworkers and activity staff; organise rotas and deliver briefings.
Safeguarding & Welfare: Ensure all staff follow safeguarding policies, complete required checks and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
Health & Safety: Oversee site risk assessments, first aid provision and incident reporting to maintain a high standard of safety and compliance.
Parent & School Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with parents and school contacts; handle enquiries, bookings and feedback.
Administration: Manage attendance records, registers, accident logs and basic budget monitoring; ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Quality & Improvement: Monitor provision quality, gather feedback and implement improvements to enhance the club experience.
What we're looking for...
Qualifications:
Level 3 Playwork, CACHE, or relevant childcare qualification (desirable).
Relevant safeguarding training (or willingness to complete prior to start).
Experience:
Proven experience working in holiday clubs, after-school provision or similar childcare settings.
Previous supervisory or management experience within a childcare or education environment.
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents and school staff.
Strong organisational skills, able to plan, prioritise and manage a busy day.
Ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team of staff.
Calm and confident approach to managing behaviour and resolving issues.
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and creating positive experiences for children.
Paediatric first aid qualification (desirable) or willingness to obtain.
